Last updated: 27 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Guaranteed Spray Foam Removal LTD (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and protects your personal information when you visit guaranteedsprayfoamremoval.co.uk, request a quote, or use our spray foam removal services. We are committed to handling your information in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).

1. Who we are

Guaranteed Spray Foam Removal LTD is the controller of your personal information.

If you have any questions about this policy or how we use your information, please contact us using the details above.

2. The information we collect

Information you give us. When you fill in a quote or contact form, call us, email us or message us (for example on WhatsApp), we may collect:

  • your name, phone number and email address;
  • the address and postcode of the property;
  • details about your loft, such as whether there is a loft ladder, boarding and a light, and the type of spray foam if you know it;
  • photos of the spray foam in your loft and of any installation certificate you choose to send us;
  • any other information you include in your message, and details of our conversations with you.

Information we collect when we carry out work. This includes your booking details, photos of the work before and after removal, correspondence with you (and, if you ask us to, with your surveyor or lender), invoices and payment records.

Information collected automatically. When you use our website, we and our service providers may collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, how you arrived at our site (for example from a Google advert) and how you interact with it. Some of this is collected using cookies and similar technologies, which are explained in section 8. Analytics and advertising cookies are only used if you consent to them.

We do not ask for special category data (for example health information). Please do not include it in your messages.

3. How we use your information and our lawful bases

  • To respond to your enquiry and give you a quote – this is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.
  • To arrange and carry out the work, and to provide our guarantee (including returning to rectify the work if your surveyor is not satisfied) – necessary to perform our contract with you.
  • To keep accounting and tax records – necessary to comply with our legal obligations.
  • To deal with complaints or legal claims, and to keep our website secure and free from spam – our legitimate interests in running and protecting our business.
  • To understand how our website is used and to measure and improve our advertising (for example Google Analytics and Google Ads) – your consent, which you can withdraw at any time through the cookie settings on our website.
  • To send you marketing messages – we will only do this with your consent, and you can opt out at any time.

4. Who we share your information with

We do not sell your personal information. We only share it where necessary with:

  • our engineers and any subcontractors who carry out the work on our behalf;
  • your surveyor, lender, solicitor or estate agent, only where you ask us to;
  • service providers who help us run our business and website, such as our website hosting provider, our email provider (Microsoft), and Google (Analytics, Tag Manager, Ads and Maps);
  • Meta (WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram) if you choose to contact us through those services;
  • our accountants and professional advisers;
  • the police, HMRC, courts or other authorities where the law requires us to.

Our website may link to other websites (for example review sites, social media or a later-life lending partner mentioned on our homepage). We are not responsible for how those websites use your information, so please read their privacy policies.

5. International transfers

Some of our service providers (such as Google, Microsoft and Meta) may process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Where this happens, we rely on the safeguards permitted under UK data protection law, such as UK adequacy regulations (including the UK-US Data Bridge) or the International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. How long we keep your information

  • Enquiries and quotes that do not lead to work: up to 12 months from our last contact with you.
  • Customer records, photos and invoices: up to 6 years after the work is completed, so we can honour our guarantee, keep the records the law requires and deal with any claims.
  • Website analytics data: up to 14 months, in line with our Google Analytics settings.

After these periods, we securely delete or anonymise the information.

7. Keeping your information safe

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including an encrypted (HTTPS) website, security software and restricted access to customer records. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work hard to protect your data.

8. Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We use the following types:

  • Strictly necessary cookies – needed for the website to work and stay secure (for example WordPress, WooCommerce, our security firewall, page caching and remembering your cookie choices). These do not need your consent.
  • Analytics cookies – Google Analytics (for example _ga and _ga_*) helps us understand how visitors use our website. These are only set if you accept them.
  • Advertising cookies – Google Ads (for example _gcl_au) helps us measure whether our adverts lead to enquiries. These are only set if you accept them.
  • Functional cookies – for example the WhatsApp chat button, which may remember your preferences.

When you first visit our website, a cookie banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings link on our website, or by clearing cookies in your browser settings. Google’s use of data is explained at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

9. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
  • ask us to delete your information;
  • ask us to restrict how we use your information;
  • object to us using your information based on our legitimate interests or for marketing;
  • ask us to transfer your information to another organisation (data portability);
  • withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent.

Some of these rights only apply in certain circumstances. To use any of them, please contact us using the details in section 1. We will not usually charge a fee and will respond within one month.

10. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s data protection regulator: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or 0303 123 1113.

11. Children

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
